DIADvisor Tips
- Before upgrading an existing DIADvisor installation, please back up your current DIADvisor database and document the information for your existing ALERT port(s).
- Choose Help on the DIADvisor task bar to access On-Line Help.
- Always reboot your computer after upgrading or performing a full installation of DIADvisor.
- If your FTP Client is not connecting, check the IP address, the username and the password.
- To silence an audible alarm notification from the DIADvisor map, press F12.
- To lock the menu on the top of the map press Shift F-2
- If you need to set up a new database for an FTP Client, copy a brand new database from the DIAD Products CD, and then check "Download Host Configuration" on your FTP Client before you press "Start".
- If your swatch2 database is over one gigabyte in size, Microsoft Access will not append, repair, or compact. It may be necessary to keep less data in your working database or archive more frequently.
- To select or edit a map right click on the map name on the Legend or choose Setup>Maps from the Tasks menu.
- To capture a screen shot of DIADvisor press f10.
- If you are running Playback and want to pause, double click Playback in the Legend.
- If you are having trouble registering please make sure that everything is entered exactly as it appears in your registration information.
- If you upgrade your version of Microsoft Access from 97 to 2000 and you want to use Access to look at your database, you will need to convert your database.
- If you want to know what version of DIADvisor you are using choose Help > About DIADvisor from the Menu Bar.
- Go to Menu > Help > About DIADvisor to access DIAD's web site and/or e-mail.
